<p>PURPOSE:To enable a high-speed printing to be conducted with a simple construction, by providing circuits which supply drive signals with a timing lag to first- and second-line heating resistors only with one data output from a drive circuit side. CONSTITUTION:Heating resistors 17a, 17b,... and 23a, 23b,... arranged at least in two lines are provided. Flip flops 14a, 14b,... and 20a, 20b,... are connected to the heating resistors 17a, 17b,... and 23a, 23b,.... First, at a first timing, first data is transferred to the flip flops 14a, 14b,..., and the first data is written on a recording medium by the first heating resistors 17a, 17b,.... Next, at a second timing, the first data is transferred to the flip flops 20a, 20b,..., and the first data is overlapped on the first data written on the recording medium by the second-line heating resistors 23a,23b,.... Simultaneously, second data is transferred to the flip flops 14a, 14b,..., and the second data is written on the recording medium.</p> |
