<p>PURPOSE:To enable a brake to be automatically operated or released, by placing a disc between stator side plates at the time of the non-conduction of a stator coil, and by making the disc free at the time of the conduction. CONSTITUTION:On a stationary section 8, a stator coil 10 is set confronted with a rotor coil 9 set on a rotor 2. On the shaft 6 of the rotor 2, a disc 17 for a brake is set. A plate 15 is set on the side opposite to the surface confronted with the coil 10 of a yoke 16, via a spring 13, and is slidably fitted on the stationary section 8 by a spline 11. At the time of the non-conduction of the coil 10, with the pressure of the spring 13, the disc 17 is pushed against a plate 14 by the plate 15, and the brake is applied. At the time of the conduction of the coil 10, the plate 15 is attracted by the coil 10, and the brake is taken off.</p> |
