PURPOSE:To efficiently produce a product having specified quality with fewer stages by mixing an org. solvent soln., surface active agent and enzyme of a film compsn. and immobilizing enzyme simultaneously with film formation at the time of forming an enzyme immobilized film on an electrode surface. CONSTITUTION:This method consists in sticking the film compsn. mixed with the enzyme to an electrode detecting part and immobilizing the enzyme thereto and is applicable to either of an ion selective electrode, a ion selective field effect type transistor and gas sensor. For example, the enzyme immobilized film 3 is formed by uniformly dispersing a liquid mixture of triacetyl cellulose contg. the enzyme and glutaraldehyde with a surface active agent and the resultant liquid is coated on the detecting part 2 at the tip of the pH electrode 1 made of glass, by which the enzyme immobilized film 3 is formed. The quantity of the enzyme to be immobilized may be adequately determined according to purposes such as the response speed, sensitivity and life of the biosensor to be produced. The biosensor having the specified quality is produced with the fewer stages by directly controlling the quantity of the enzyme. |
