A method for prepg. toner comprises (i) mixing styrene acrylic resin 45-85 wt.%, gumaronindene resin 10-40 wt.%, dye or pigment 0.1-20 wt.% and static charge inhibitor 0.5 wt.% by a ballmill, (ii) kneading under 5kg/cm2 and 50-200 deg.C to below 10,000 poise viscosity, (iii) taking out the mixt. from the kneader and cooling to 20 deg.C to obtain lump mass, (iv) crushing the lump mass by use of a jetmill, and (v) air-sorting to obtain 1-50 micron toner.
