PURPOSE:To prevent going out or flickering phenomena by providing a gap at an iron core in a position of the secondary coil arranged in a leakage transformer and setting the ratio between voltage at a connecting point of the output end of the secondary coil with the other coil part and secondary non-load voltage to 0.6 or more. CONSTITUTION:A gap 3 is provided at an iron core 2 in a position of the secondary coil arranged in a leakage transformer 1, and the ratio Vcom/V02 between voltage at a connecting point of the output end of the secondary coil 5 and the other coil part 4 (Vcom) and secondary non load voltage (V02) is set to 0.6 or more. By constituting like this, the linearity of inductance of the secondary coil 5 is improved, and secondary short circuit current and distortion of the waveform of a lamp current diminishes and current pause period disappears. Hereby, going out or flickering phenomina can be prevented. |
