Railway truck with vertically movable headstock - with headstock lockable in different positions by locking members independent of movement members

The truck comprises variable-height headstocks which eacy carry buffers (3,4) and elements (2) for coupling to other trucks. The headstocks are positioned orthogonal to the ends of two longitudinal members (5,6) delimiting a load floor (7). At least one headstock is monoblock structure mobile vertically in a plane orthogonal to that of the load floor. The headstock is moved by movement members (19,20) and is lockable in at least two positions by locking members (16,17,18) which are independently of the movement members.
