PURPOSE:To provide an excellent hair-protection composition containing an amino-modified silicone and an ampholytic polymer, effective in preventing the surface damage of hair and capable of keeping the smoothness and flexibility of hair. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be produced by mixing (A) an amino-modified silicone of formula I (a and b are integers corresponding to the molecular weight of 5,000-100,000) and (B) an ampholytic acrylic polymer of formula II (R1 and R3 are H or CH3; R2 is 1-18C alkyl; R4 and R6 are 1-4C alkylene; R5 is H, CH3 or C2H5; m and n are integers corresponding to the molecular weight of 30,000-100,000) to (C) hydrolyzed protein, polyhydric alcohols, hydrophilic oils, paraben disinfecting antiseptic, refreshing agent, etc. The amounts of the amino-modified silicone and the ampholytic polymer are 0.5-10wt.% and 0.3-5wt.% based on the whole composition, respectively. |
