PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of a printing quality by holding the tip part of a separating member by the lower face to which an image of recording paper is not transferred, when the tip of the recording paper has been separated from a claw part. CONSTITUTION:The tip of recording paper P to which a toner image has been transferred by an electrifier 2 is caught by a claw part 32a, and subsequently, a separating member 3 is oscillated in the carrying direction of the recording paper P, namely, clockwise against energizing force of an energizing means 31, and this recording paper is peeled off from the peripheral surface of a photosensitive drum 1. In such a way, the recording paper P is separated from the photosensitive drum 1, and also, the tip part 32 is oscillated clockwise, and when the tip of this recording paper has been separated from the claw part 32a, the tip part 32 of the separating member 3 is held by the lower face to which an image of the recording paper P is not transferred. Thereafter, the separated recording paper P is placed on a carrying belt 5, and carried out by a rotation of driving rollers 4, 4. In such a way, the deterioration of a printing quality of an image which has been transferred to the recording paper is prevented. |
