PURPOSE: To measure temperature in a high temperature measurement range of 350-400 deg.C with a simple constitution so that a piezoelectric element can be enclosed and isolated by a crystal glass case. CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric element 2 is placed in a case 3 made of a diamagnetic or a paramagnetic material (for example, ceramic crystal glass) that does not generate magnetic shielding. Then, both connection electrodes 4 and 5 of the piezoelectric element 2 and an internal coil 6 to be connected are placed in a thin layer inside the case 3. In this case, a coil winding is wound around a coil shaft spirally. Then, induction connection exists between the internal coil 6 and an external coil 7. Also, the coil 7 is connected to the oscillator 1 via terminals 8 and 9 and is connected to an evaluation device 10 to calculate temperature, thus measuring temperature in a high temperature measurement range of 350-400 deg.C.
