PURPOSE:To enhance the service for passengers at a boarding stages on two entrance floors by providing load limiting devices on both two entrance floors, and by setting the load limiting value of the limiting device provided on the preceding second entrance floor to a value smaller than the load limiting value of the limiting device provided on the posterior first entrance floor. CONSTITUTION:During a predetermined office going hour, an office going pattern operation instructing circuit X issues an office going pattern operation instruction, and closes contacts X1, X2. Accordingly, a lower gate floor return circuit Y is energized so as to initiate the service at a boarding stage on an underground entrance floor. In this case, when a load in a cage reaches, for example, 50% of a rated loading capacity, the boarding of passengers is inhibited by means of an alarm device. Then, the cage is initiated to be driven. In this condition, passengers at a boarding stage on the ground entrance floor can board the cage up to 110% of the rated loading capacity. With this arrangement, it is possible to give fair service for passengers on both gates. |
