PURPOSE:To form a fixed-format sheet image by digital image processing by storing digital image data corresponding to the fixed-format sheet in an external means and enabling the data to be read at any time. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with an image plotting means which plots an image on a photosensitive body by irradiating an optional position on the photosensitive body with a light beam, an external storage means which stores fixed-format image data of fixed size previously, and a plotting control means which controls the projection of the light beam on the fixed position on the photosensitive body according to the fixed-format image data read out of the external storage means. Namely, when the fixed-format image data is read out of the external storage means, the plotting control means controls the driving of the drawing means which projects the light beam according to the read fixed-format image data to form the fixed-format image on the photosensitive body. Consequently, the desired fixed-format sheet is reproduced by the digital image data processing. |
