PURPOSE:To reduce a load on a host computer by combining automatic ticket examination machines connected in plural arbitrarily dividing them into groups, and operating them setting one of them as a master machine and others as slave machines. CONSTITUTION:The automatic ticket examination machines (1-5) are connected to the host computer 6, and also, the machines (1-5) are connected with each other by a private line 7. In a RAM 11, a seat table, a setting area 11a, and a master/slave data area 11b are set. When a flight number is inputted to the automatic ticket examination machine set as the master machine, the seat table corresponding to the class is generated in the area 11a. When a flight ticket is inputted to the automatic ticket examination machine set as the slave machine, the data is transmitted to the master machine. The master machine, when receiving the data of the flight ticket from the slave machine, collates the data of the flight ticket with the seat table, and judges double booking. When no double booking is performed, a response of OK is returned to the slave machine, and when the double booking is performed, a response of NG is returned to the slave machine. |
