PURPOSE:To easily regulate the transformation point of the subject alloy and to manufacture the same having small change of its characteristics by changing the addition amounts of Co in the specific range to a TiNi shape memory alloy within the range of specific compsn. CONSTITUTION:In the TiNi shape memory alloy within the range of the compsn. of 50-52at% Ti, the addition amounts of Co is changed as third alloy elements in the range of <=5%. By this method, the transformation point of the above shape memory alloy can easily be regulated without impairing its workability. In this way, the shape memory alloy showing the objective characteristics and having small dispersion of transformation point can be obtd. without the change of the alloy components, the lowering of Ti concn. in the matrix caused by the melting of the impurity elements such as C and O, etc. |
