Turbine engine vane comprising an elongate vane body 1 and a fixing root 2 extending transversely to the body at one end of the latter, the body and the root being produced at least partly from a synthetic resin reinforced by long fibres. Reinforcing fibres 16, 17 extend continuously through the body in the longitudinal direction of the latter and into the root in a direction which is transverse to the body. <IMAGE>
