PURPOSE:To industrially and advantageously obtain the title compound useful as medicines, cosmetic, etc., without using toxic Cd complexes, etc., by carrying out acylation reaction of glycerophosphorylchlorine with an acid anhydride in the presence of a basic catalyst at a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:Glycerophosphorylcholine is subjected to acylation reaction with an acid anhydride (preferably anhydride of an 8-24C fatty acid) in the presence of a basic catalyst (preferably pyridine, N,N-dimethyl-4-aminopyridine, N,N-dimethyl-4-amino-2-methylpyridine, N,N-diethyl-4-aminopyridine, 4-pyrrolidi nopyridine or 4-pyrrolidino-2-methylpyridine) at 40-180 deg.C, preferably 50-120 deg.C to afford the aimed compound. |
