PURPOSE:To efficiently realize a long service life of a copy lamp by reading out a lighting unnecessary time of the copy lamp based on a copying condition and lighting continuously the copy lamp when the lighting unnecessary time is below a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:When a print key of an operating panel 24 is depressed and a copying condition is inputted, a CPU 20 reads out the inputted condition, and reads out a lighting unnecessary time T from a ROM 21 based thereon. When the time T is below a prescribed value, a copy lamp 1a is turned ON continuously, and when the time T is larger than the prescribed value, the lamp 1a is turned ON/OFF at every operation and the copying process is continued. When the time T is below the prescribed value, a flag 22a is set to a RAM 22, and at the time of return, said operation is repeated while referring to the flag. When the time T is larger than the prescribed value, the flag 22a is reset and at the time of return, said operation is repeated while referring the flag. |
