<p>PURPOSE:To enable constant supplementation of tire air pressure by providing an air valve, which opens when a pressure inside an tire air chamber becomes below the preset value, between an accumulator and the tire air chamber, and enabling the supply of air pressure into the accumulator by an air pump. CONSTITUTION:A slant cam 13 is installed on a shaft 5. A piston 17, which has steel balls 16 to roll on the peripheral portion of the slant cam 13, is fitted in the pipe portion 15 of cast wheel 6. This piston 17 is energized in the direction of the slant cam 13 by the force of a spring 18. An accumulator 21 is formed between the tip of pipe section 15 and filter case 20, thus an air pump is constructed. When the tire air pressure reaches below the preset value, an air valve 24 opens against the spring force, and the high-pressure air in the accumulator 21 is supplied to an air chamber 7a through an air passage 23. On the other hand, when the tire air pressure reaches the preset value, the air valve 35 of a back pressure passage 30 opens to keep the air pressure inside the accumulator 21 constant.</p> |
