PURPOSE:To provide a casting mold of which the upper part is improved in heat conductivity and the lower part in abrasion resistance, by forming an alloy coating layer on the surface of a casting mold body in the layer thickness and hardness increasing successively from the upper part toward the lower part. CONSTITUTION:Such an alloy coating layer 2 of which the layer thickness and hardness increase successively from the upper toward the lower part of a casting mold is mounted on the surface of a casting mold body 1 made of copper or a copper alloy. Since the layer 2 consists of an alloy containing >=1 kind among Fe, Co, Mn, Ni, the ratios of Fe, Co and Mn in the layer 2 increase successively from the upper toward the lower part of the casting mold. |
