PURPOSE:To join a firmly attached part of each flat plate metallic band material to a corrugated metallic band material being superposed alternately forming a laminated body by dipping the laminated body in an electroless plating bath, forming thus a covered layer for brazing and heating the covered layer thereafter. CONSTITUTION:Each flat plate metallic band material 2 consisting of a heat resistant thin metallic plate such as Fe-Cr steel, etc., and corrugated metallic band material 3 is superposed so as to attain 5 to each other, and a laminated body having many meshed air holes in the axial direction is formed by winding the superposed product spirally all together. The laminated body is then dipped in a chemical plating bath and plated electrolessly. Thus, a covered layer 6 for brazing such as Ni braze is formed uniformly thereon except the attached parts 5. By heating the laminated body thereafter, melting pools 7 are formed at the attached parts 5 of both band materials 2, 3 due to the melting of the covered layer 6 for brazing. Thus, the attached parts 5 are joined firmly. |
