PURPOSE: To provide a power application reset circuit which consists of a reference voltage generator, a supply follow-up device and a bistable comparator and is integrated on a device to be used and to add an external reset circuit together with a reset pin provided on an integrated circuit. CONSTITUTION: A reference voltage generator consists of two depletion transistors TR M1 and M2 which are connected in series between the supply voltage Vcc and the ground and then supplies a preset reference signal Vref when the supplied voltage becomes higher than the preset threshold. A supply follow-up device consists of a depletion TR M4 and two natural TR M3 and M5 and generates an input signal to copy the aspect of the supplied voltage by a preset reduction factor. A bistable comparator consists of four natural TR M6, M7, M8 and M9, has a 1st input part which is driven by a reference signal and a 2nd input part which is driven by the input signal received from a supply follow-up device, and is switched to a 2nd state from a 1st state when the input signal exceeds the reference signal. |
