<p>PURPOSE:To shorten an assembling time and to improve a productivity by regulating the height of a tracking pattern in a magnetic head with the push of the edge surface of the magnetic head to a reference surface, and adjusting the azimuth of the magnetic head with the turning of the magnetic head using a convex part on the side surface of an intermediate member as a fulcrum. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic recording/reproducing head unit is assembled, first, an upper plate 16 and a lower plate 17 are linked, the intermediate member is arranged between the plates 16 and 17, and a tape guide 13 is assembled. Next, magnetic heads 14 and 15 are inserted between the upper plate 16 and lower plate 17 along the side surface of an intermediate member 20, and by pushing the edge surface of the magnetic heads 14 and 15 to the reference surface, the height of the tracking pattern in the magnetic head is regulated. Simultaneously, by turning the magnetic heads 14 and 15 using convex parts 25 and 26 on the side surface of the intermediate member 20 as the fulcrum, the magnetic heads 14 and 15 are fixed on a tape guide 13 in a condition in which the azimuth adjustment of the magnetic heads 14 and 15 is carried out. Thus, the productivity of the magnetic recording/reproducing head unit can be improved.</p> |
