<p>PURPOSE: To improve safety by forming a device preventing a fuel vapor from being discharged to the outside air during refueling with a control valve connected to an activated carbon filter and a safety valve, opening the control valve when a tank cover is opened, and closing the safety valve when a tank is inclined by the prescribed angle. CONSTITUTION: A fuel tank is provided with an oil feed pipe 12 and an intake/ exhaust device 20, and the intake/exhaust device 20 is connected to an active carbon filter 24 by an intake/exhaust pipeline 26. An upper tank wall 31 is provided with a device 30 trapping a fuel vapor generated during the fuel supply process, and this device 30 is provided with a valve unit 32 constituted of a control valve 36 connected to the active carbon filter 24 through a fuel vapor pipeline 34 and a safety valve 38 connected to the front stage of the control valve 36. The control valve 36 has a valve element 54 opened against a return spring 50 via a wire 56 when a tank cover 18 is opened. The safety valve 38 has a valve element 42 closed when a tank 10 is inclined by the prescribed angle due to an accident.</p> |
