PURPOSE:To make it possible to couple a metallic pipe with a rubber hose only through insertion thereof into said hose, with improved sealing efficiency, by inserting said metallic pipe into said rubber hose the inner peripheral surface of which is not yet vulcanized, and vulcanizing said rubber hose to be tightly adhered and integrally coupled with said metallic pipe. CONSTITUTION:An automobile fuel hose is used for a rubber hose 1. An inner pipe 10 of the hose is made of a blended rubber mainly composed of an NBR which is not yet vulcanized. An outer surface of the inner pipe 10 is braided by a polyester reinforcing thread 11. Further, the surface of the reinforcing thread 11 is coated with an outer pipe 12 made of epichlorohydrin rubber. Meanwhile, a copper pipe is used for a metallic pipe 2. The pipe 2 is formed with a swelling 20 ground at one end thereof. The rubber hose 1 inserted with the metallic pipe 2 is thrown into a steam vulcanizing can and heated at 140 deg.C for 30 minutes. After the vulcanization is completed, when the rubber hose 1 is taken out of the can, a layer 3 where the inner pipe 10 of the rubber hose 1 is fixedly secured to the surface of the metallic pipe is formed between the rubber hose 1 and the metallic pipe 2. |
