<p>PURPOSE:To monitor the max. temp. in the inside of a filter, to prevent the black smoke removing filter from excess temp. rise, and to allow to stably burn the fine particles by providing a lengthy light transmitting medium allowed to be heated with the filter and measuring the strength of the radiant light generated from the light transmitting medium. CONSTITUTION:A photodetecting probe 8 is provided in the inside of the black smoke removing filter 1. When the fine particles caught by this filter 1 is burnt, the photodetecting probe 8 heated with the filter 1 measures the strength of the radiant light generated at its end by a photosensor 10 to monitor the max. temp. in the inside of the filter 1. A flow rate adjusting valve 6 is controlled according to this temp. to adjust the supply flow rate of air with prevention of overheating the filter 1 and the fine particles are stably burnt.</p> |
