PURPOSE:To implement high quality printing continuously, by holding electric conductors with electrically insulating supporting bodies, and using thermosetting resin having a specified hardness or less as a bonding agent for supporting and sticking electrode heads. CONSTITUTION:Electric conductors 11 are held with electrically insulating supporting bodies 12. In this constitution, a thermosetting resin having a shore hardness of 30 or less is used as a bonding agent 13 for sticking the supporting bodies 12 for electrode heads. Since the embedded type electrode heads are used, the writing parts of the electrode heads are brought into contact with a discharge recording sheet uniformly. The electrode heads are polished uniformly. Therefore all the electrode needles are brought into contact with the discharge recording sheet positively. The tips of the electrode heads are always kept clean, and an excellent writing characteristic is maintained. As the characteristics required for the bonding agent 13 for sticking the supporting bodies 12, the following characteristics are required: there is no difference in hardnesses between the electric insulating supporting bodies and the agent; and conducting foreign material is not attached at the time of heating in discharge. As the material of the supporting bodies, the following characteristics are required: excellent heat resistance, lubricity and machinability; and hardness, which does not give flaws on the surface of the discharge recording sheet. Hexagonal-system boron nitride is suitable. |
