PURPOSE:To increase productivity and improve magnetic performance, by performing hot working in a state where a ground product of an alloy is vacuum-sealed in a capsule, the basic components of the alloy being a rare earth element, iron and boron. CONSTITUTION:Alloy is melted by an induction furnace, an ingot is casted by a mold, the obtained ingot is ground by a ball mill, and ground product is obtained. The ground product is put in a box-type capsule, deaerated and sealed. Carbon quantity of the capsule is about 0.10wt.%, and the melting point is about 1400 deg.C. The capsule is rolled 50% at 900 deg.C, and subjected to heat treatment at 850identicalC for two hour after rolling. The ground product of alloy is vacuum-sealed in the capsule in the following manner; after the ingot of alloy is ground by the ball mill and the like, it is put in the capsule, deaerated and sealed. Otherwise, after the ingot is put in the capsule, deaerated, and sealed, it can be ground in the capsule by cold working at a temperature ranging from normal temperature to 500 deg.C or less. The capsule is desirable to be made of metal wherein the carbon quantity is less than or equal to 0.25wt.%, and the melting point is higher than or equal to 600 deg.C. |
