Locking device with an adjusting drive which has a fork latch (2) which is pivotable into a closing position by the adjusting drive (hydraulic cylinder 5) and which cooperates with a web (3) or tenon of a displaceable component. The fork latch (2) is locked in its closing position by a detent pawl (8) which is displaceable by the adjusting drive (hydraulic cylinder 5) into a release position freeing the fork latch (2). The unlocked fork latch (2) is displaced positively by the adjusting drive (hydraulic cylinder 5) into an open position freeing the web (3) or tenon.
