The invention relates to a device making it possible to block espagnolette bolts, in a simple and effective manner, and with complete reliability. It consists of 2 metal plates 1 and 2 connected by a spindle A. The plate 1 fixed to the shutter supports a reinforcing plate 3. The plate 2, which is pierced, allows the passage of the reinforcing rod 3 when the system is unlocked. A small metallic bar 4 provided with a blocking knob is riveted to the plate 2. For locking the system it is sufficient simply to push the blocking knob with the finger into abutment against the spindle A under the reinforcing plate 3 and to screw the knob. It is impossible to raise the espagnolette bolt without unscrewing the blocking knob. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for blocking the espagnolette bolts of shutters. <IMAGE>
