A new dry moulding material capable of being employed for the manufacture of composite materials, comprising, by weight, from 85 to 40% of filler and from 15 to 60% of heat-curable, organic or organosilicon solid resin and a crosslinking agent in a proportion of between 6 and 15% by weight relative to the resin. According to the invention this moulding material comprises particles of the said filler surrounded by particles of the said resin which have been fixed merely by mixing the constituents dry. Process for preparing this moulding material. Application of this moulding material in the manufacture of composite materials.
