PURPOSE:To stabilize a form of swing by providing two layers of sole to a golf shoe for rear foot in the direction of striking a ball: a hard layer of sole to hold inclination and a soft one made of elastic material to make the surface even over the hard one. CONSTITUTION:A soft layer 4 of a sole made of plastic or soft rubber with elasticity is formed on a hard layer 3 of the sole made of leather or synthetic leather, synthetic rubber, etc. An inclination holding part 5 made of hard mate rial in a shape of flat board, square or cylindrical bar or inclined board is formed on the hard layer 3 and its surface is covered with the soft layer 4. The inclination holding part 5 is set in a curved form in accordance with the outline of the sole or a footprint, favorably from 10mm to 25mm in height. When a ball is struck, weight is applied to a toe part and presses a soft layer 4 hard while a toe part sinks heavily, but a heel part is prevented from sinking by an inclination holding part 5; an angle is provided to a player's body through a foot 11.
