<p>PURPOSE:To prevent temperature from rising excessively by operating only a blower in a burner section for a definite time when a key switch of an engine is not turned on while particulates caught by a trap are burnt in the burner section. CONSTITUTION:A trap 2 for catching particulates in exhaust gas is disposed in an exhaust pipe 1, while a burner section 6 for burning removably caught particulates is disposed in the inlet side of trap 2. On the other hand, detecting signals are sent from a sensor 5 for detecting the differential pressure between the front and rear of trap 2 and various sensors for detecting the running condition of an engine to the input of a controller 10. Then, the output signal is sent also to the input of controller 10 from a key switch 20 of engine. When the ON signal of key switch 20 is not input, only a blower in the burner section 6 is operated for a definite time.</p> |
