<p>Apparatus permitting the use of all types of syringes for single or multiple injection, with equal or unequal delivery rates, with simultaneous or non-simultaneous functioning, and with a maximum permissible occlusion pressure independent of the diameter of the syringes used. Consisting of modular elements (2) which can be assembled together, this apparatus permits the quick and simple production of single or multiple syringe pumps by juxtaposition of the modules (2), which are in addition interchangeable and are connected to a single regulating and control element (1). Each module has its own mechanism under the control of the control block (1). The support for the syringe body is made up of two jaws (3) which move symmetrically relative to the axis of the syringe (x-y) and whose spacing apart allows the injection to be stopped in the event of occlusion, independently of the diameter of the syringe used. This support is additionally arranged in such a way as to hold any type of syringe in the same reference axis (x-y) which is common with that of the device for pushing the syringe plunger. <IMAGE></p> |
