<p>PURPOSE:To improve control efficiency by cutting off temporarily a reflux circuit provided to an output circuit of a DC/DC conversion circuit and regenerating the electromagnetic energy accumulated on a reactor of the output circuit on a DC power source via the DC/DC conversion circuit at the time of regenerating an arc. CONSTITUTION:The DC/DC conversion circuit consisting of an AC/DC conversion part to rectify the output of a DC/AC conversion part to convert the output of DC electric power into high frequency by using a switching element and obtain the DC output is provided. The DC reactor 12 and the switching element 10 to cut off the reflux circuit and the DC/DC conversion circuit are provided to the output side of said conversion circuit. A regeneration circuit provided to said DC/DC circuit to regenerate the electromagnetic energy accumulated on inductance at the output side including the DC reactor 12 when the reflux circuit is cut off by the switching element 10 is provided. By this method, in short circuit transfer type arc welding, the quantity of occurrence of spatters is reduced and the energy is recovered and a converter is operated with low frequency and the low-speed switching element is constituted and loss can be reduced.</p> |
