PURPOSE:To magnetize a plurality of two-dimensional fine patterns by a method wherein a mask, consisting of a patterned superconducting material, is laminated on a magnetic material, and a magnetic field is applied from outside. CONSTITUTION:A mask consisting of a patterned superconducting material 2 is laminated on a magnetic material 1, and a magnetic field is applied from outside. The magnetic flux applied vertically does not advance into the superconducting material 2 due to the Meissner effect, and it is pushed out to outside. As a result, the density of magnetic flux decreases at the part located directly under the superconducting material 2, and the magnetic material 1 on that part is not magnetized. On the contrary, the magnetic material 1 on the part having no superconducting material 2 is magnetized by the applied magnetic flux. Accordingly, the magnetic material 1 is magnetized exactly same as the pattern of the mask. As a result, a plurality of two-dimensional fine patterns can be magnetized. |
