<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a recording liquid, having excellent water and light resistance and suitable for ink jet, by dissolving or dispersing an ultraviolet ray absorber, etc., in an oily phase, emulsifying and dispersing the resultant oily phase in an aqueous medium containing a coloring matter. CONSTITUTION:The aimed recording liquid obtained by dissolving or dispersing preferably 10-30wt.% ultraviolet ray absorber (e.g., 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-5- sulfobenzophenone) and/or antioxidant (e.g., 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol) in an oily phase, emulsifying and dispersing the resultant oily phase in an aqueous medium containing at least a coloring matter (preferably water-soluble dye or disperse dye). Furthermore, the mode value of particle diameter distribution of emulsified and dispersed particles is preferably <=10mum.</p> |
