The bins (4) are supported from a main transporter cable (1) operating between pylons. A second endless cable (5) is suspended between srring fixtures (8), and pulleys (7). The cable carries a trigger (6) which can be moved to any selected position. The base of the bin is opened when the release lever (16) comes into contact with a trigger. The lever (16) is joined by a wire (9) to the latch (12) at the base of the bin. Movement of the trigger (16) regulates the release position of the bin.
