PURPOSE:To obtain a propulsion engine which can be moved irrespective of being underwater, in the air or in space by generating wave motion from a wave motion source and generating wave motion which repulses the wave motion transmitted from the wave motion source from a flange-like blade disposed in the periphery of the wave motion source to obtain driving force. CONSTITUTION:A wave motion source 1 for generating wave motion is provided in the central portion of the lower portion of a drum 3 of a propulsion body, and a flange-like blade 2 is disposed in the periphery thereof. Wave motion having a short wavelength is generated from the wave motion source 1, and when the wave motion is transmitted through the space in the periphery of the drum 3 until it reaches the flange-like blade 2, the wave motion which repulses the wave motion from the wave motion source 1 is generated from the blade 2 to be used as driving force for the propulsion body, thereby driving forward the propulsion body. |
