Support for fastening a cable to a surface, comprising a rectilinear, flat band (1) carrying, distributed over its length, a plurality of parts (2) for retaining a cable by clamping, separated by band sections having no retaining parts, passage holes (6) for fastening means (clips, nails) being provided between the cable- retaining parts (2).
