PURPOSE:To increase a battery saving effect by separating the time slot of a signal sending into a part to send a calling signal and a part to send an information signal and causing a receiver to stop a reception in a time when the information signal is transmitted to the other receiver. CONSTITUTION:The calling signal is composed of at least a receiver number and a receiving control signal to indicate a timing by which the information signal transmitted to the receiver designated by the receiver number is transmitted. The signal transmitted from a transmitter is inputted through an antenna 21, a high frequency circuit 22 and a decoder circuit 23 to a signal processing circuit 24. By the signal processing circuit 24, the timing by which a group to be received is transmitted is detected by a synchronizing signal, the existence of an information transmission to itself is recognized by the receiver number in the calling signal, and the processing of reception, etc., is executed. An intermittent receiving control circuit 25 controls a switch 26 so as to supply a current to the high frequency circuit 22 and decoder circuit 23 only while the information signal is transmitted, based on the data from the signal processing circuit 24. |
