PURPOSE:To achieve optimum drive force control according to various running operation patterns by setting the threshold value of slip ratio according to a difference between the running operation patterns of a driver to reduce controllably the drive force when the actual slip ratio exceeds the threshold value of slip ratio. CONSTITUTION:Drive wheel speed and car body speed are detected respectively by means a, b, while the running operation pattern of a driver is detected by a means c. Also, an actual slip ratio between tire and road surface is calculated by a means d on the basis of drive wheel speed and car body speed. Further, as the running operation pattern is changed from a careful one to sporty one, the threshold value of slip ratio is set by a means e to be increased gradually. When the actual slip ratio exceeds said threshold value, a drive force is reduced by a means f to controllably restrain the drive wheel slip. Thus, some degrees of slip are allowed for the sporty running operation for example pattern to achieve the sport travelling. |
