<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the title processing agent capable of providing softness and impact resilience to a fiber, by subjecting a specific organopolysiloxane to emulsion polymerization with (meth)acrylic monomer, specific polyfunctional monomer and specific ethylenic saturated monomer. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of O/W emulsion of 5-95 pts.wt. organopolysiloxane expressed by formula I (R<1>-R<3> are 1-20C monovalent hydrocarbon or monovalent halogenated hydrocarbon; Y is radical reactive group or organic group containing SH; X is H or monovalent lower alkyl, etc.; m is 100000; n is 1) and 95-5 pts.wt. mixed monomer consisting of 70-100wt.% (meth)acrylic monomer expressed by formula II (R<5> is H or methyl; R<6> is 1-18C alkyl, etc.), 0-10wt.% polyfunctional monomer such as ethylenic unsaturated amide or alkylol thereof, 1-20wt.% ethylenic unsaturated monomer containing carboxyl group and 0-20wt.% monoethylenic unsaturated monomer other than the above- mentioned ethylenic unsaturated monomer is subjected to emulsion polymerization to provide the treating agent for fiber of copolymer emulsion.</p> |
