<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize each block and make a space for carriage and storage smaller by constituting a body frame in a way of dividing it into four blocks, namely, a front frame, a rear frame, a lower frame and a seat rail. CONSTITUTION:A body frame 100 of a saddle type four-wheel car 1 consists of four blocks of a front frame 10, a rear frame 20, a lower frame 30 and a seat rail 40. The front frame 10 and the rear frame 20 are coupled with both front and rear parts of an engine 4 with each bolt. With this coupling, the engine 4 is utilized as a strength member for the body frame 100. In addition, the lower frame 30 is coupled to both front and rear frames 10, 20 with bolts, while the seat rail 40 is coupled with the rear frame 20 with a bolt. Thus, these blocks 10, 20, 30, 40 are coupled with one another with bolts whereby concentration of stress is checked, and any reinforcing material becomes unnecessary, thus car weight is reduced.</p> |
