PURPOSE:To perform smooth displacement to target displacement, by a method wherein a difference between real displacement and target displacement of the temperature regulating element is compared with two criterione allowing a wide discrimination range and a narrow one regulating element is moved to target displacement continuously in the wide range and intermittently in the narrow range. CONSTITUTION:Real displacement of a temperature regulating element 1 (air mix damper) is detected by a displacement detecting means 3 and inputted to a first displacement difference discriminating means 5 and a second displacement difference discriminating means 9 in a discrimination range narrower than that of the first displacement difference discriminating means 5. When a difference between target displacement and real displacement of a displacement deciding means 4 is outside a first control displacement range, a first displacement difference discriminating means 5 feeds a given voltage to a rotary electric motor 2a through a voltage feed means 8 to drive the temperature regulating element 1. When it is within the first control displacement range, a second output signal generating means 7 is driven, and the temperature regulating element is intermittently driven according to the discrimination result of the second displacement difference discriminating means 9. This constitution enables execution of smooth control to target displacement. |
