PURPOSE:To obtain the title structure for fishing nets, having excellent antifouling properties, high strength and improved flexibility, by coating twisted filaments comprising a thermoplastic resin with a thermoplastic resin containing a specific ratio of copper powder. CONSTITUTION:Twisted filaments comprising a thermoplastic resin such as high-density polyethylene or polyamide is coated with melt of a thermoplastic resin containing 5-50wt.%, especially 10-30wt.% copper powder. The structure of coated twisted filaments has excellent antifouling properties, high strength, improved flexibility and good net manufacturing properties. |
