PURPOSE:To prepare a soil conditioning material which exhibits strong bacteriocidal activity, deodorization and gas adsorption, by grinding particular water-contg. plant humus mud and bringing the mud into contact with the air. CONSTITUTION:This soil conditioning material is prepared by grinding plant humus mud having a water content of 50-80wt.% and bringing the mud into satisfactory contact with the air for activation. This material not only improves the physical properties of the soil but also improves rood swelling, strengthens tree vigour, and improves gloss of the skin, which enhances the resistance to disease and insect damage. In this respect, this material is a plant activator rather than a soil conditioner. It contains a suitable amt. of minerals such as manganese, iron, sodium, calcium, magnesium, copper, zinc and molybdenum. It has been confirmed that various amino acids and several vitamins are present in this material. Further, other components supposedly derived from microorganisms have been successively found in this material. |
