PURPOSE:To form a covering composition having excellent printability, by incorporating a monomer containing radical-polymerizable double bonds and, if required, a radical polymerization initiator into a resin prepared through reaction of an epoxy ester resin with a polybasic carboxylic acid. CONSTITUTION:The title composition is obtained by mixing a resin (A) prepared through reaction of a polybasic acid or its anhydride with an epoxy ester resin prepared from an epoxy compound and a monobasic carboxylic acid having no radical-polymerizable double bond; a monomer (B) having radical- polymerizable double bonds; and, if required, a radical polymerization initiator (C). Examples of the epoxy compound in component A include a glycidyl ether epoxy resin, a glycidyl ester epoxy resin, a glycidylamine epoxy resin, a linear aliphatic epoxy resin, and an alicyclic epoxy resin, each having at least one epoxy group in the molecule. |
