PURPOSE:To enable a governor to be inspected and replaced in car mounted condition that an adjacent member is mounted enhancing a degree of layout freedom by arranging the center axis of a governor shaft crossing between the center axes of an idler gear and a final drive gear. CONSTITUTION:A governor shaft center axis Og crosses between an idler gear center axis Oa and a final drive gear center axis Of and between an output gear center axis Oo and the final drive gear center axis Of, and a governor valve 8 is mounted being arranged in the upper part of a drive shaft joint 7. As the result, when an automatic transmission A1 is mounted to a vehicle, while ensuring the minimum height from the ground generating no problem of interference with a road surface, an engine hood can be set and so on, thus a degree of layout freedom can be enhanced in the time of car mounting. While the governor 8 enables its inspection and replacement work to be performed placing the automatic transmission A1 to be left as in a car mounting condition that an adjacent member of drive shaft or the like is mounted. |
