PURPOSE:To manufacture the title apparatus having excellent corrosion resistance and ductility by using the composite in which specific ratios of Cr, Fe, Mo, W, Cu and Co are incorporated to Ni. CONSTITUTION:The apparatus for the treating of halogen and sulfurous acid is manufactured by the composite contg., by weight, 0.5-50% Cr, at least one kind of elements selected from the group of 1-40% Fe, Mo, W, Cu and Co and the balance consisting substantially of Ni. Trace amounts of Mn, V, Si, C, S, P, etc., may be incorporated thereto; and the compsn. of the apparatus is preferably regulated to about 50-70% Ni, 10-20% Cr, 10-20% Mo, 2-10% W, 2-10% Fe and 1-5% Co. By this method, the apparatus having no generation of corrosion cracks in the heat affected zone and having no problem of pollution in the manufacture itself can be obtd. |
