PURPOSE:To prevent mis-operation of a reproducer, by displaying the number of blocks to be moved and the running mode of a tape, in reading out an arbitrary picture in plural picture blocks recorded on the cassette tape. CONSTITUTION:Plural picture data (including related auxiliary data) are recorded on the cassette tape 1. In reading out an arbitrary picture data from these picture data, an operating controller 7 reads out the number of blocks to be moved from a program memory 4 and displays it on a picture display 6. Further, the tape running mode of rewinding and fast feed in this case is displayed on the display 6. Through the display above, the user confirms the operating state of the reproducer 2 clearly. Thus, mis-operation of the reproducer is prevented. |
