PURPOSE:To enable the control of sound absorbing properties to be easily achieved, while the ventilation properties of sound absorbing material is kept by a method in which an adhesive is applied only to the net-meshlike structure member on both sides of a honeycomb plate, whereby the sound absorbing material is stuck thereto. CONSTITUTION:After adhesives 12, 12' have been applied only to the net-meshlike structure members on both surfaces of a honeycomb plate 13, this honeycomb plate 13 is nipped by sound absorbing materials 11, 11' and they are laminated. Further, according to necessity, a skin 14 is laminated on said material by applying adhesive to the skin and sound absorbing materials 11, 11', thereby obtaining a laminate before molding. Then this laminate before molding is heated and pressurized in a mold, and is molded. Thus, since the adhesive is applied only to the net-meshlike structure member of the honeycomb plate, and said member is stuck to the sound absorbing material, the necessary minimum amount of the adhesive is sufficient for use, and moreover the adhesive is not applied to the part without necessity of adhesion in the sound absorbing material. Therefore, the through hole necessary for the sound absorbing properties of the sound absorbing material is not blocked, and its ventilation properties may be kept. This molded ceiling material is used for the ceiling base material of an automobile by fitting the side of the sound absorbing material (felt) 11 to said base material with an adhesive. |
